Lou founded Culture Craft to help scaling businesses build culture as an operating system: intentional, scalable, and designed to unlock potential.

She works at the point where growth creates the most pressure. Where founder-led ways of working are starting to show strain, but adding layers of process would slow things down further. This stage needs clear thinking, strong judgement, and someone who can move fast without creating dependency.

With 15+ years leading People & Culture functions across tech, ecommerce, healthcare, and high-growth startups - from early stage through to Series C - Lou has built and led people functions through rapid growth and worked closely with founders and leadership teams navigating the realities of scaling. Her experience includes senior roles at organisations including Airbnb and eBay.

Lou is CIPD qualified and a Certified Scrum Product Owner, combining deep people expertise with a delivery-led, product-minded approach. She applies the same discipline to culture that world-class engineering teams apply to product: clear scope, sprint-based delivery, and outcomes that hold.

She is known for being calm, direct, and highly trusted in complex situations, surfacing what is actually getting in the way, aligning leaders quickly, and building systems that make progress repeatable.
